Redditor Alexander Rhodes stumbled upon a study that revealed that men who did not ejaculate for at least seven days had increased serum testosterone levels by 45.7 percent.
He tried it out
Because he was quite intrigued by the finding, he did not masturbate for a week. Note that he was a 22-year-old guy, so being sexually active was not uncommon.

NoFaps users were approached by Cambridge University to understand the effects of porn. It was revealed that those who were porn addicts had brain activity similar to alcohol and even drug addicts.
Does watching porn change your brain structure?
Psychology assistant professor Matthew Johnson believes that it’s the other way around: our brain structure can affect how we can be addicted to porn and masturbation.
Some case studies have also shown that a damaged prefrontal cortex can influence one’s sexual behavior.
To masturbate or not?
However, even Johnson acknowledged that he would probably masturbate in the future. This is because the seemingly positive feeling of not masturbating is similar to getting rid of other impulsive behaviors. Moreover, Masturbation helps relieve stress and tension, aside from other health benefits.
